Bike Survey

I just wanted to pass along this survey from the Alliance for Community Choice in Transportation. It only takes a moment to fill out, and is an easy way to get involved.

Launched: C–Ville Bike Survey!

Cast your vote for the most important improvements to the bicycle network in the Charlottesville area!

ACCT is pleased to announce the next step in the Bike Charlottesville campaign. Please complete the Bike Project Survey.

This survey is the second phase of public feedback that will help us create our advocacy agenda for the coming year. The survey shows the top 22 projects selected by members of the public at the 2006 Bike Summit, which drew over 130 bicycle enthusiasts from our community. We will ask you to “vote” amongst these projects for your priorities, so that we can further narrow down the list to 4-6 projects. The Bike Charlottesville committee will then champion the final priorities and work toward their completion. We are aiming for 300 respondents to this survey, so please pass it on to anyone you know who rides (or wants to ride) in the Charlottesville area!

Please only complete the survey one time.

Last, consider joining the Bike Charlottesville committee. This is a grassroots effort to advocate for better bicycle networks in our area—by doing research, writing letters, organizing rides, speaking at public meetings, etc. We will need lots of enthusiastic people to help turn these ideas into reality, so please contact John Potter at bikes@transportationchoice.org to get involved.

Many thanks for your time and support! Happy riding,
Alia Anderson
